Who is Khari and what started Khari's Calls?
Khari Oramae Burns was born November 30, 2023 and passed unexpectedly on March 8, 2024 to SUID at 3 months old. As the Burns family performed CPR and dialed 911, they kept receiving a voicemail. Determined to keep their daughter's legacy alive and not wanting to have any other parent experience this, they’re currently working with legislators to create Khari's Calls, an infant emergency hotline. Furthermore the goal is to ensure that hospitals and pediatricians have Infant CPRWraps to give to parents for free.
Partnerships
.Khari's Calls is always looking to give free Infant CPR training whether it's with individual parents or a large gathering. We are also looking for more hospitals and pediatrician offices to give Khari's Calls Free CPRWrap packages. Please send an email to coordinate logistics or schedule training.
